

Introduction

AI & Automation PractitionersĀ improve workflow efficiency across organisations byĀ identifyingĀ and solving operational inefficiencies using digital tools, automation, integration, and AI.Ā Ā 

They collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to analyse existing processes, implement improvements and ensure safe, responsible adoption of new systems.

Our apprenticeship is designed to enable individuals to utilise best practise and identify opportunities for optimisation by owning specific projects that deliver measurable productivity, accuracy and cost benefits.



Who can do this apprenticeship?

This apprenticeship is designed for individuals working in a position which requires them to analyse and optimise processes, to improve operational efficiency.

Candidates will need to… 

  • Be employed in or being hired into a job role withĀ process optimisationĀ responsibilitiesĀ 
  • Undertake a real-word AIĀ adoptionĀ project toĀ showcaseĀ their knowledgeĀ 
  • Have support from their employer to dedicate approximately 8 hours a week to trainingĀ

Our interactive live, online training model is designed to create a flexible learning environment without losing any of the benefits of in-person teaching. An apprenticeship with LearnTech typically looks like… 

  • Live weekly online sessions – 2 hours per week
  • Off-the-job training (OTJT) - Weekly hours are programme specific (see top of page)
  • Immersive learning experience through Microsoft Teams ClassroomĀ 
  • Maximum classroom size of 12 ensures a highly effective trainer to student ratioĀ 
  • Monthly 1 to 1 mentor meetings
  • Maths and EnglishĀ - if required

We’re committed to maximising the impact of our apprenticeships and include BCS AI & Data Awards (at no extra cost) in the majority of our apprenticeships. These give apprentices industry-recognised qualifications that enrich learning, build confidence and deliver even greater value organisations.

The following BCS AI & Data AwardsĀ are now included with this apprenticeship:

Each award comprises of between 30 – 50 hours additional learning, of which 8 hours (4 x 2-hour sessions) are live online with a trainer. Mock exams, feedback and the BCS final exams are also included.
